Job Overview

We're seeking an Energy Infrastructure Specialist to lead and manage activities related to settlement metering on behalf of Asset Management and NGET. The successful candidate will influence internal and external stakeholders in the current and future settlement metering arrangements from a technical and commercial perspective.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead on Meter Operator Agent (MOA) obligations, ensuring seamless contract management and reporting.
  • Review codes, frameworks, and connection charges, providing expert technical and asset management knowledge where appropriate.
  • Represent NGET on internal and external stakeholder working groups or committees, influencing key relationships and driving business outcomes.
  • Support and mentor team members, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Requirements
  • A strong background in business change management, with the ability to develop working relationships quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of communicating complex information diplomatically.
  • In-depth knowledge of ET Policies, Procedures, Technical Specifications, Work Specifications, and Technical Guidance Notes.
  • Understanding of National Grid's regulatory regime and Type Registration TP.
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with a proven ability to support business risk, cost, and performance decision-making.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary between £58,929 - £72,000, dependent on capability. A bonus based on personal and company performance is also available, as well as a contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution up to 12% company contribution.
