Our prestigious University of Cambridge seeks a talented Research Specialist to join our esteemed Faculty of Law. We are committed to academic excellence and innovation, pushing the boundaries of legal research.

We are currently looking for a highly skilled individual to work on an AHRC funded project focused on novel approaches towards explainable and ethical artificial intelligence (AI) in law, particularly predicting decisions of the UK Employment Tribunal (UKET).

The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree or be working towards a PhD degree in relevant fields such as Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning. Excellent programming skills in Python, NLP techniques, and Machine Learning (in particular probabilistic) are essential.

A competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum is offered for this part-time position. Appointment will be at Research Assistant or at Research Associate level depending on having a PhD degree.
