We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HPC Specialist to join the Society of Research Software Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the employment and coordination of RSEs within the Centre and participating research groups.

The successful candidate will have experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Fortran 90, and Python, with expertise in parallel programming using OpenMP and MPI. Familiarity with administering Linux operating systems and configuring HPC clusters is also essential.

As part of your role, you will assist with second-tier support for the Faculty of Mathematics HPC Development Platform and take technical responsibility for HPC training resources for PhD students. Experience with GPU programming, scripting, and AI/ML toolkits is highly desirable.

**Salary:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
