Biomineralisation Research Specialist

As a Biomineralisation Research Specialist, you will play a key role in developing a quantitative computational model of carbonate biomineralisation processes. You will work closely with the project team to design and parameterise the model, and test its performance using biological and geochemical data.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field, such as Computational Modelling applied to geochemical or biological systems. They should also be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the underlying mechanisms of biomineralisation, and experience in programming languages such as Python or Julia.
The salary for this position is approximately £36,924 - £45,163 per annum, dependent on experience. Training and mentoring will be provided to support your career development and research interests.
