Job Overview:
Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Clinical Research Specialist to join their team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with world-class medics in cutting-edge surgery, taking a supporting role in running a portfolio of research studies. The successful candidate will coordinate and facilitate patients on their journey through trials, liaising with consultants and hospital research facilities across the UK. With a strong focus on patient care and research excellence, this position is ideal for individuals passionate about advancing medical knowledge.

Responsibilities:
- Identify eligible clinical research participants and provide high-quality support to patients/participants
- Coordinate study treatment/interventions and data collection according to study protocols in accordance with ICH Good Clinical Practice, EU Clinical Trials legislation, and the NHS research governance framework
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless trial execution

Requirements:
- Relevant clinical experience at Band 5 or above
- Experience of formal/informal teaching and supervision of junior staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to develop good working relationships with diverse stakeholders
