**Job Title:** Clinical Research Coordinator

**About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about clinical trials and wants to make a real difference in the lives of patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the setup and conduct of clinical trials, working closely with the chief investigators and their teams. This will involve setting up participating sites, ensuring that all data and samples are collected following the protocol, and monitoring the conduct of the studies.

As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of clinical trials, from observational studies to complex interventional trials. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as protocol development, case report form design, and pharmacovigilance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate the setup and conduct of clinical trials, including setting up participating sites and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with the chief investigators and their teams to ensure smooth trial execution
  • Monitor the conduct of the studies and ensure that all data and samples are collected according to the protocol

**Requirements:**

  • Significant experience of working in clinical research, including observational studies and clinical trials
  • Substantial experience in the set-up, protocol development, coordination, and management of clinical trials
  • Excellent administrative skills, including organising and planning
