Job Title: SEND Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Educator to join our expert team at Desian Recruitment Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist school environment, making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and other specialists to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence.
  • Implement and contribute to Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) for pupils.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, adapting teaching strategies to support their development.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.

About You:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in an SEND or specialist setting.
  • Is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEND.
  • Demonstrates creativity, adaptability, and a nurturing approach to teaching.
  • Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Has experience working with EHCPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (desirable but not essential).

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
