Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Liverpool. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Children with SEND: Provide tailored support to students with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Lesson Delivery and Classroom Management: Deliver planned lessons and support the teacher in managing the classroom.
  • Small Group Interventions: Lead small group interventions to help boost attainment.
  • Collaboration and Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to monitor and report on students' progress.
  • Lesson Planning and Preparation: Assist in the planning and preparation of learning activities.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience as a HLTA: Previous experience as a HLTA is essential.
  • SEND Experience: Experience supporting students with SEND.
  • Excellent Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Behaviour Management: Ability to manage behaviour and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
