Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Liverpool, UK
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum based on experience
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working as an HLTA and must have a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities- Lesson Delivery and Classroom Management: Deliver planned lessons and support the teacher in managing the classroom.
- Support for Students with SEND: Provide tailored support to students with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Small Group Interventions: Lead small group interventions to help boost attainment.
- Collaboration and Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to monitor and report on students' progress.
- Lesson Planning and Preparation: Assist in the planning and preparation of learning activities.
- Experience as a HLTA: Previous experience as a HLTA is essential.
- SEND Experience: Experience supporting students with SEND.
- Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
