Higher Education Support Specialist

Beacon Support Ltd. is recruiting for a Higher Education Support Specialist to work with students with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC). As a Higher Education Support Specialist, you will provide one-to-one support to students, helping them develop learning strategies that improve their study skills and enable them to become independent learners.
The successful candidate will have experience in working with students with ASC on a 1:1 basis and possess a deep understanding of autistic thinking and learning. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain a confidential and professional working relationship with students.
A relevant degree and teaching qualification are required for this role, along with experience of working with these disabilities in an educational/learning environment. We offer a dynamic CPD programme with regular training events, including ADHD and ASC training, as well as thorough induction training and staff development.
