We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Domestic Abuse Housing Advocate.

The Role:

You will be responsible for providing intervention, advocacy, and support to survivors of domestic abuse. This will involve working within a fast-paced team, helping women maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse.
  • Co-ordinate multi-agency support, focusing on working with survivors to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.
  • Assess the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have.

About You:

  1. You will need solid experience supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse in all its forms.
  2. A good understanding of violence against women and girls, including the dynamics of domestic abuse, is essential.
  3. You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
