Specialist Domestic Abuse Support Worker

Potter Johnson is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Domestic Abuse Support Worker to join our team. This is a rewarding role that requires providing safe and appropriate accommodation for service users in Hammersmith and surrounding areas.
About the Role- We are offering a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum for this full-time position, with the possibility of flexible working arrangements.
The successful candidate will work closely with key partners, including homelessness teams, local authorities, and housing associations, to provide support to victim/survivors of domestic abuse. They will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk, implementing safety and support plans, and ensuring effective project delivery.
Requirements- Over 12 months of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of domestic violence, criminal justice, law, social work, or another related area.
- An excellent knowledge of conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse and implementing safety and support plans.
- Experience of assessing the needs and safety of women at risk, giving due regard to Adult at Risk policies and procedures.
