Job Title: Administrative Support Officer

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our team at the Ministry of Justice. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will provide administrative support to our staff and service users, ensuring that our processes are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to staff and service users
  • Ensure the effective administration of referrals and relationships between offender management, victims, interventions, service providers, and external agencies
  • Prepare, maintain, and collate case and other records, files, and management information
  • Receive and distribute information and communications in an appropriate manner
  • Provide cover for an effective and efficient reception and telephone enquiry service

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals
  • Good keyboard and IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office Word and basic skills in Excel
  • Ability to use databases
