We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a **Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant** in a mixed primary and secondary school based in Rawtenstall.

This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 8:50am – 3:30pm, during term-time.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £25,357, based on £12.33 per hour.

About the Role:

  1. Assist students with SEN by providing individualized support during lessons, adapting activities to meet their needs, and ensuring they understand tasks.
  2. Create an inclusive classroom environment by encouraging participation, promoting social skills, and supporting emotional well-being.
  3. Help students with personal care needs, such as feeding, toileting, dressing, and mobility, while promoting independence and dignity.
