About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate education assistant to support students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) or Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

A well-resourced special educational needs school in Rossendale is looking for multiple special educational needs teaching assistants to work alongside the teaching staff. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or adults with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualized support to students with PMLD or ASC, promoting their development and learning.
  2. Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
  3. Ensure compliance with school policies, including behaviour policies.

Salary: £50 per hour

Estimated Annual Salary: £104,000 - £109,200 (based on 40 hours/week)
