**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Academic Support Specialist to join our team in Rossendale. This is a full-time, long-term position with a competitive salary of £12,000 per year.

As an Academic Support Specialist, you will provide high-quality support and guidance to students who require additional help to overcome their barriers to learning and attendance. You will work closely with students to develop strategies to promote positive outcomes and improve their behaviour.

The successful candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on children's behaviour and attainment. They will be approachable, nurturing, and understanding, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and attitudes towards learning
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless support for students
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to address these
