Job Title: Academic Science Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join our secondary school in Rawtenstall, Lancashire. The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics. You will be responsible for preparing students for their GCSE exams, sparking their curiosity in the sciences, and helping them develop the knowledge and skills needed for future academic or career paths in science and related fields.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing regular feedback
  • Creating an engaging and stimulating learning environment
  • Encouraging students to explore scientific concepts and develop critical thinking
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the science curriculum
