If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Behaviour Mentor and Teaching Assistant in our specialist school located in

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted support to children with SEMH and ASD, helping them overcome behavioural challenges and achieve their academic potential.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
- Support teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEMH and ASD, addressing their specific learning and behavioural needs.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or Teaching Assistant, preferably in a special educational setting.
- A good understanding of SEMH and ASD and the ability to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude towards addressing challenges.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each student and the school.
