**Job Title: 1:1 Alternative Provision Instructor**

**Location: Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall**

**Salary: £19,000 per annum**

**Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday**

**Contract: Fixed Term 12 months; Term Time only**

Due to growth in service, we are looking for a 1:1 Alternative Provision Instructor to join our fantastic team at Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall.

**About the role**

Working as 1:1 Alternative Provision Instructor for Belmont Secondary School. You will be supported in partnership with the teaching staff to ensure students reach their full potential.

We are looking to appoint a flexible, dynamic and dedicated individual with experience in working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.

**Please note**:
Job Role and Primary Responsibilities
- In partnership with the Alternative Provision Lead ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum that is appropriate for the pupil you are supporting that meets his needs and interests
- To contribute to raising the standards and attainment for the individual pupil you support whilst providing appropriate activities to promote a positive confidence in pupil’s own ability
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides the student you support with the opportunity to achieve their full potential
- Work with the pupil you support on a 1:1 basis to improve their numeracy and literacy skills and complete the relevant assessments to show the relevant progress being made

**Qualifications required: GCSE's ideally grade C/4 and above in English and Maths.**
