We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Mental Health and Learning Disability Delivery Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and treatment to individuals with mental health problems or learning disabilities.
Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Working effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to provide care and treatment to meet individuals' physical, psychological, social, mental, and spiritual needs.
- Assisting individuals to maintain and improve their health, independence, and recovery within the clinical and/or community setting.
- Providing person-centred care with a shared responsibility for positive risk-taking.
- Assisting individuals to exercise their rights and uphold safeguards to ensure minimal restriction on their lives while maintaining the safety of others.
- Contributing to the operation and development of high-quality clinical services that aim to improve outcomes for individuals with mental health problems or learning disabilities.
- Participating in Clinical Supervision and Reflective Practice.
- Acting as a Named Nurse or Care Coordinator to a small group of individuals during their episode of care.
- Providing one-to-one sessions with allocated patients.
- Acting as an effective role model and mentor to junior staff.
- Participating in the PADR process and continually updating practice and education.
