About the Role

Fugro NL Services B.V. is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our Marine Infrastructure Solutions team in Falmouth, Cornwall. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in attracting new clients, engaging with existing clients, and supporting the business in securing projects for profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a point of contact for Marine Infrastructure Proposals within and outside the Fugro group.
  • Responsible for the proposal process, including all technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.
  • Commercial, technical, and operational bid reviews.
  • Form a business strategy and produce detailed, concise proposals based on conditions of contract.
  • Prepare prices based on market intelligence, business strategy, collation of proposal submission data, and review of each bid prior to submission.
  • Prepare bid/no bid analysis for review and approval by the line manager.
  • Commercial and technical negotiation with clients to secure contracts.
  • Attend and conduct client meetings via Skype or in person, UK and/or overseas.
  • Engage with subcontractors and suppliers during the proposal process to ensure best value and technical solutions are achieved.
  • Produce cash flow forecasts as part of the commercial evaluation.
Requirements
  • Experience and background in Marine/Renewable or Civil Engineering applications.
  • Initiative-taking and self-driven.
  • Excellent time management to achieve internal and external deadlines.
  • Articulate with excellent people skills.
  • Astute commercial awareness.
  • Adept at problem-solving and resourceful.
