Estimator and Proposal Coordinator

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our Marine Infrastructure Solutions team based in Falmouth, Cornwall.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in attracting new clients, engaging with existing clients, and supporting the business in securing projects for profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare a proposal handover package to facilitate a meeting with the project delivery team.
- Engage with a network of known and new clients throughout the proposal process.
- Act as a point of contact for Marine Infrastructure Proposals within and outside the Fugro group.
- Responsible for the proposal process, including all technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.
- Commercial, technical, and operational bid reviews.
- Form a business strategy and produce detailed, concise proposals based on conditions of contract.
- Prepare prices based on market intelligence, business strategy, collation of proposal submission data, and review of each bid prior to submission.
- Prepare bid/no bid analysis for review and approval by the line manager.
- Commercial and technical negotiation with clients to secure contracts.
- Attend and conduct client meetings via Skype or in person.
- Engage with subcontractors and suppliers during the proposal process to ensure best value and technical solutions.
- Produce cash flow forecasts as part of the commercial evaluation.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and project management software.
- Ideal degree or HND qualification, with experience working with international teams and an understanding of various forms of contract conditions.
- Experience in Marine, Renewable, or Civil Engineering applications.
- Astute commercial awareness.
