Elior, a leading contract caterer in the UK, is seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic organization that prioritizes customer satisfaction and employee growth.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Chef De Partie to manage and support a catering team, focusing on cost control, culinary excellence, and efficient service delivery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing staff, ensuring seamless communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Proactively manage and support a catering team to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food experiences
* Develop and implement strategies for cost control and financial growth through effective resource management and menu planning
* Ensure ongoing team communications, including building internal relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to drive operational excellence
* Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to COSHH, Food Safety, H&S regulations, and environmental policies
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef, with a proven track record of leadership and team management
* Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Benefits
* Competitive salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
* Generous holiday allowance, starting at 28 days and increasing to 31 days after two years of service
