About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Senior ICT Technical Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional third-line IT engineer to move into a senior management role without the administrative burden, while still being able to be technically hands-on and continue learning about the latest technology.
The successful candidate will be the go-to technical person in the business, handling any technically challenging situation with ease. They will assess and select new IT, telecoms, and cyber-security services and solutions, create processes and training programs for onboarding and support requirements, and effectively scope and manage projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership and control of the most technically challenging support issues, communicating effectively with internal and external users and management throughout.
- Assessing client requirements and specifying solutions, with an understanding and capability of solving business needs securely with technology solutions.
- Effectively scoping and managing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in IT, including:
- Microsoft 365 – Exchange, Sharepoint (Migration and Administration), Power BI, Dynamics.
- Cyber-security tools, technologies, and processes.
- VOIP, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft and Apple Operating Systems.
- LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/Internet networking maintenance and fault analysis/resolution.
- TCPIP / Routers / VPN / Firewalls / VLAN / DNS.
- Active Directory/GPO.
- Backup Management.
- Remote Management and Monitoring systems (eg Kaseya VSA, Connectwise Automate, etc).
Desirable Skills
A knowledge of the following would be a distinct advantage:
- Microsoft Azure – Scoping, building (virtual machines, networking and security).
- Apple Mac/macOS.
