Job Title: HR Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic company as an HR Advisor, where you will play a key role in shaping the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, tracking attendance, leave, and pre-employment checks using online systems.
  • Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  • Support the Directors in the management of the disciplinary process, ensuring best practice is followed.
  • Provide regular reports to the Finance Director on salary variations.
  • Monitor probation and induction timelines, working closely with department managers.
  • Monitor staff sickness in line with Bradford factor policy.
  • Work closely with management to identify and plan staff deployment and strategically plan for future recruitment needs.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to management, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with directors to plan and implement team-building and staff engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and review pay structures, employee perks, and benefits.
  • Ensure HR policies are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide confidential support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters.
  • Line manage the HR & Health & Safety Coordinator.
  • Implement a new HR software package, providing tools and frameworks to support employees and managers.
  • Oversee all recruitment processes, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
Requirements:
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft and Excel skills.
  • 3 years of HR experience.
  • CIPD qualification desirable, with a comprehensive understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Positive, empathetic, and approachable manner.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic approach to work.
