An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and growing company, the MP Recruitment Group, which would suit an aspiring individual with a passion for working within Human Resources. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the maintenance of all employee records, tracking sickness, holiday & absence, and pre-employment checks using online systems.
  • Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues that may arise, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  • Collaborate with the Directors and Management to manage the disciplinary process from start to finish, ensuring best practice is followed.
  • Provide regular reports to the Finance Director on salary variations and other HR-related matters.
  • Monitor probation/induction timelines and work closely with department Managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Monitor staff sickness in line with the company's Bradford factor policy.
  • Work closely with Management to identify and plan staff deployment and strategically plan for future gaps in recruitment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR roles, with a strong background in HR administration, HR systems, and new employee onboarding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex employee relations issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
