Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional communication and business partnering to drive financial reporting, insights, and budget activity.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to provide expertise, advice, and challenge decisions using data and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive committee members, cost centre leads, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and quantify potential risks and opportunities to budgeted performance across cost centres.
  • Adopt a 'value for money' mindset and challenge cost centre leads as required.
  • Provide ad hoc insight and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Create processes to enable group-wide reporting of central functions.
  • Identify revenue and market growth opportunities through executive relationships.
  • Develop business cases and work with other business teams to pull together information.
  • Conduct return on investment analysis.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Share knowledge and insights through the production and presentation of analysis and reports.
  • Become a key liaison point between cost centre managers and the finance team.
  • Help maximise opportunities for improved operating expense management arising from new functionality and processes.
Requirements
  • A proven background partnering with executives in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience working within a large, complex organisation and managing multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent data and analytics skills to provide meaningful insight to business leaders.
  • Able to analyse and draw conclusions from large, complex data sets.
  • Able to work in a fast-moving environment and with an innovative approach.
  • Comfortable switching between hands-on and operational mindsets to a broader commercial/strategic one.
  • Qualified accountant with commercial experience.
