The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Events Manager to join our team at Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- To proactively sell our hotel's conference and banqueting facilities to potential clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- To handle all aspects of event planning, including show-rounds, appointments, and administration, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
- To manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure they meet their targets and deliver exceptional results.
- To review and action all guest feedback, ensuring that we continuously improve our services and exceed customer expectations.
- To identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and events management within a quality hotel environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and travel.
- Driving license required for travel to and from appointments.
