FAMILY PRACTITIONER



About the Role:



We are seeking an experienced Family Support Practitioner to join our team in Norfolk County Council. As a key member of our Family Help service, you will work closely with children and families to address worries and create plans for positive change. Your office base will be located at County Hall in Norwich, allowing you to serve the South Norfolk area effectively.



Your primary focus will be on managing a complex caseload of Family Support cases, while also providing peer support, coaching, mentoring, and role modeling to colleagues and guidance to the Team Manager. This is a strengths-based service where the child is at the centre of our work, with their voice and views being the most important. You will need to identify and understand risk, keeping it under review throughout each case. Excellent IT skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, and databases, as well as effective communication at all levels, are essential for this role.

Estimated Salary Range: £32,076 - £33,945 per annum (Grade H)
