**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Recovery Specialist to join our team at Service Care Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Manage a high caseload of complex cases, providing regular support and guidance to service users.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Deliver harm reduction advice, recovery interventions, and blood-borne virus interventions to service users.
  • Enable service users to access education, employment services, health services, and wellbeing and recovery support activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in substance misuse recovery work, with a strong understanding of addiction and recovery principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and ability to identify and mitigate risks.
