Role Overview:

Implement focused outreach initiatives, connecting with individuals who may encounter obstacles to accessing treatment.Provide psychosocial support as part of the Substance Misuse Recovery Service within the community.Collaborate with various partner organizations to ensure a cohesive service delivery.Engage with local communities and partner organizations to enhance awareness of the service through community events.Proactively reach out to clients who miss appointments to foster engagement opportunities.Participate in risk assessment and management processes.Assist clients in their journey towards social reintegration, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives by promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.

Candidate Profile:

Possess a deep understanding of complex substance misuse issues and have relevant experience in a similar role.Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside proficient IT capabilities.Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently, with exceptional time management and prioritization skills.Be a collaborative team member with strong interpersonal abilities, capable of working alongside a diverse range of professionals and stakeholders.Effectively manage change while prioritizing the needs of clients.Be adaptable and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.Actively seek opportunities for professional development and contribute to the learning and growth of colleagues.
