Job Title: Reserve Community Outreach Support Worker

IRIS - Networx Services is seeking a skilled Reserve Community Outreach Support Worker to join our team. As a Reserve Community Outreach Support Worker, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with mental health needs in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximise the independence of individuals requiring support, enabling them to make real choices in their lives.
  • Provide housing-related support, including assisting with benefits entitlements, rent and household bills, and accessing employment, volunteering, and training opportunities.
  • Assist with shopping, supervise medication, and prompt clients to complete domestic chores.
  • Social inclusion support to build confidence in accessing the community.
  • Maintain accurate records of support provided, risk assessments, and support plans.
  • Work with partner agencies, including Peterborough City Council, NHS services, and Cambridgeshire County Council.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a similar role supporting individuals with enduring mental health needs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of mental health and related issues.
  • Ability to provide positive behaviour support and demonstrate a supportive and caring nature.
  • Good communication and listening skills, with the ability to provide advice to customers.
  • Full driver's licence, as access to a fleet of pool cars is required.
