Primary Teacher Required:

We are seeking a qualified teacher to join our team at a special school in Moseley, South Birmingham.

The successful candidate will support pupils aged 5-11 years with diverse needs, including cognition and learning, speech, language, and communication difficulties, as well as physical, sensory, and medical needs.

About the Role:

The teacher will have opportunities to develop strategies for promoting independence, social skills, and effective communication among children.

The successful candidate will work closely with children and their families to promote independence, social skills, and effective communication.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months of experience teaching in a special school setting
  • Possession of a TEAM TEACH Certificate (desirable)
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
