About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to work as a Learning Support Assistant in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Birmingham. The successful candidate will provide support to children with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, Physical impairments, and medical needs.

The school is focused on supporting students to achieve their full potential, and we are looking for someone to work closely with teachers and additional support staff to provide one-to-one and small-group support in a classroom setting.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant, you will need to have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people, such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce. You will also need to be able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check. Previous experience of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities is essential.
