BSL Support Worker for SEND Schools

Are you a motivated and experienced BSL user looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time SEN BSL Teaching Assistant at Academics Ltd in Birmingham.
In this role, you will work closely with the SEND provision to provide vital support for children with hearing impairment. To be successful, you will need to have a minimum of a Level 2 in BSL and experience working with students with Hearing Impairments.
This is a long-term position that requires a high level of commitment and dedication. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students.
To apply, you must:
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 in British Sign Language
- Have experience working with students with Hearing Impairments
- Be passionate about working with Special Educational Needs
As well as these qualifications and skills, all candidates must have a fully enhanced DBS check and a minimum of two years' worth of relevant working references.
Estimated salary: £28,500 per annum.
