**The Role**:
I am looking for a dedicated BSL Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to play a pivotal role in supporting and enriching the lives of the students. Your primary responsibility will be to provide essential assistance and guidance to children with diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, PTSD, trauma, personality disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, self-harming behaviors, and suicidal tendencies.
- Proficient in British Sign Language (BSL) - Level 2 or above, enabling effective communication with our hearing-impaired students.
- Passionate about supporting children with complex mental health needs, demonstrating empathy and patience in challenging situations.
- Experience or a strong interest in working within a supportive educational environment.
- Flexible and adaptable with a collaborative spirit, ready to contribute positively to our dynamic team.
