About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND teaching assistant to join our team on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting children with ASD and complex communication needs within an education setting.

Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality support to pupils with SEND, enabling them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
  • To work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized education plans.
Requirements

We require a calm, patient, and adaptable individual who is able to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in supporting teaching and learning.
  • Proven experience in an education setting, particularly with children who have ASD and complex communication needs.
