The Opportunity

As a Sales Manager for Nutanix's Commercial Sales team in the UK and Ireland, you will be responsible for selling our products and solutions through Channel Partners and interacting directly with Commercial customers. You will have team lead responsibility for the Commercial Sales team and will be expected to develop new accounts, penetrate new divisions and organizations within assigned accounts, and leverage relationships with local executives to drive sales execution.

About the Role

You will work closely with teams such as Marketing, Customer Support, Professional Service, and Pre-sales to drive precise sales execution and achieve a highly predictable forecast, strong growth, and pipeline generation goals. You will also be responsible for building and strengthening business relationships with current accounts and new prospects, leveraging your experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Build and leverage relationships with local executives to drive sales execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive precise sales execution and achieve sales goals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT sales experience preferred.
  • Experience leading oriented employees in virtual and field environments.
  • Strong datacenter and application-led sales background.
  • Success in building channels.
