We are seeking a Defence Business Growth Strategist to join our team at Leidos.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic plans to achieve annual targets in the defence sector. This will involve leading bid teams, building senior relationships with government clients, and identifying opportunities that match Leidos' strengths.
The role requires substantial experience in selling IT services in the UK defence market, existing client relationships in the UK Ministry of Defence, and a track record of successfully driving business growth year on year.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and lead business development activities to achieve annual awards targets in the defence sector
- Develop and maintain senior relationships with government clients to position Leidos as a strategic potential supplier
- Identify and qualify opportunities that best match Leidos' strengths and provide optimum outcomes for clients
- Lead and execute significant new business campaigns in the UK defence market
- Substantial experience in selling IT services in the UK defence market
- Existing client relationships in the UK Ministry of Defence
- A track record of successfully driving business growth year on year and hitting targets
- Demonstrable experience of success in leading and winning contracts valued in excess of £25m
- Competitive salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum
