Sopra Steria's Aerospace, Defence and Security business is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Governance Strategist to lead our risk management initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies, working closely with senior leadership to align GRC initiatives with business objectives.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the field of cybersecurity. You will play a lead role in helping our clients understand their security challenges and specify, plan, and implement projects to improve their security posture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate security strategy using technical and management principles.
  • Prioritise market trends, business strategies, and identify alternative strategies' benefits.
  • Lead complex audits and assessment programs.
  • Implement compliance programs against legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Support recruitment activities and engage with the Cyber Security Community of Expertise.
Requirements
  • Strong client management and relationship building skills.
  • Effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences, assessing risk and understanding new technologies.
  • Experience in leading engagements including ISMS implementation, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
  • Proficient project management, balancing multiple initiatives and priorities.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and people management abilities.

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include £5,400 car allowance, 25 days annual leave, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund.
