Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting and nurturing the educational journeys of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Support students with additional learning needs, including autism, learning difficulties, speech and communication challenges, and physical disabilities.
  • Provide 1:1 support during class activities and assist with behaviour management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for working with children with additional learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £80-£90 per day, paid weekly. Our school is located in Abingdon, and we are easily accessible by public transport.
