Palliative Medicine Consultant Opportunity

The Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Palliative Medicine Consultant to join our team at Whipps Cross University Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialist care to patients in the Margaret Centre Specialist Palliative Care Unit and the Community Palliative Care Team in Waltham Forest.
As a Locum Consultant in Palliative Medicine, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide inpatient and outpatient management for patients with palliative care needs. This will involve working with local and existing wider teams to provide high-quality care and participate in associated teaching programmes.
Main Responsibilities
Key duties of the role include:
- Providing specialist care to patients in the Margaret Centre Specialist Palliative Care Unit and the Community Palliative Care Team
- Working with local and existing wider teams to provide inpatient and outpatient management for patients with palliative care needs
- Participating in associated teaching programmes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- MRCP or equivalent specialist qualification
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice
