National Locums is currently recruiting for a locum Consultant in Palliative Medicine to work in a reputable NHS trust in Nottinghamshire.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Consultant to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth of the Palliative Care department.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual with Specialist Registration in Palliative Medicine, who can work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and clinical skills, with the ability to deliver outstanding care to patients and their families.

Job Overview:

  • Type: Full-time
  • Location: Nottinghamshire
  • Job Duration: 3 months (initially)
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (with flexibility for part-time hours)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ward rounds, clinical sessions, and Palliative Medicine outpatients
  • Attend weekly MDT/departmental meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring excellent patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Specialist Registration in Palliative Medicine (desired)
  • Excellent communication and clinical skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
