Job Summary

Stern Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee and manage our utility-scale solar projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company and be part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations at the construction site, including worker activities, equipment use, and project progress.
  • Oversee the dismantling of existing solar modules, inverters, and other components as required for revamping and repowering.
  • Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel, including assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, including conducting safety meetings and training sessions for site personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and address project requirements effectively.
  • Ensure that all materials and equipment are properly utilized and maintained on site.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and safety awareness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a site supervisor or similar role in utility-scale solar projects, with specific expertise in revamping and repowering operations.
  • Strong understanding of solar system components, electrical systems, and construction management.
  • Excellent leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • SSSTS or other safety training.
