Operations Manager ICP Civils

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Operations Manager ICP Civils to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the Contracts Manager to deliver projects that meet the high-level objectives of the Business.
- Ensure that each project team delivers to the project remit, within budget and to a programme as agreed with the Business and the Client.
- Interface internally through teams and externally with the Client to ensure project awareness is communicated widely.
- Manage internal and external resources.
- Assist in providing engineering solutions.
- Assist in financial reporting, process management, and quality assurance to appropriate standards.
- Liaise with the Client's and Stakeholders on projects, providing excellent customer service to meet and exceed the client's expectations.
- Be aware of and promote Reach Active Limited Health and Safety policies and risk management.
- Responsible for the completing and issuing of all required Site Documentation from the team on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Experience in the utility sector is essential with respect to site management and product and sector experience and site conditions.
- Good customer service, good people skills, and excellent organisation skills.
- Key Competencies: Customer Service, Commercial Awareness, Organisation and Planning, Health and Safety, Risk Management.
- Essential: Experience of Managing Project managers and overseeing Projects to a high Level, Experience and ability to provide accurate and comprehensive reports, Personal and Business focused motivation, Strong workload management skills, Strong programming ability, Knowledge and experience of permitting systems, Attention to detail in both physical works and Client Liaison, Experience of SEDs / Engineering solutions, Electrical Knowledge (Cable pulling / jointing / Formworks), Understanding of G81 or DNO equivalent, Substation base installation experience, Appreciation of I/DNO equipment, Experience in managing contract conditions e.g. NEC/JCT, ICP Management (Civils), CSCS Professional Card (White) or Engineering Services Skill Card (Black), IT Literate, First Aid at Work (3 Day Qualification), Full UK Driving License.
- Desired: NRSWA (Supervisor), HNC/HND Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering degree or equivalent relevant industry qualification, City & Guilds Basic Electrical Theory, Temporary Works TWC trained, Lifting Operations Appointed Person (AP), Confined Spaces Appointed Person (AP), Confined Space Entry Certification, Cable Winch Operations Certification, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling.
The role may require travel to all company sites in London & South East and throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays, as and when required.
