Job Title: Operations Manager ICP Civils

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our ICP Civils division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work with the Contracts Manager to deliver projects that meet the high-level objectives of the business.
  • Ensure that each project team delivers to the project remit, within budget and to a programme as agreed with the business and the client.
  • Interface internally with teams and externally with the client to ensure project awareness is communicated widely.
  • Manage internal and external resources to deliver projects efficiently.
  • Assist in providing engineering solutions and financial reporting to appropriate standards.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide excellent customer service and meet their expectations.
  • Be aware of and promote Reach Active Group Limited Health and Safety policies and risk management.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in the utility sector, with respect to site management and product and sector experience and site conditions.
  • Good customer service, people skills, and excellent organisation skills.
  • Experience of managing project managers and overseeing projects to a high level.
  • Ability to provide accurate and comprehensive reports.
  • Strong workload management skills and programming ability.
  • Knowledge and experience of permitting systems, attention to detail in both physical works and client liaison.
  • Experience of SEDs / Engineering solutions, electrical knowledge, and understanding of G81 or DNO equivalent.
  • Substation base installation experience and appreciation of I/DNO equipment.
  • Experience in managing contract conditions, e.g. NEC/JCT.
  • CSCS Professional Card (White) or Engineering Services Skill Card (Black).
  • IT literate and First Aid at Work (3 Day Qualification).
  • Full UK driving license.

**Desirable Qualifications:**

  • NRSWA (Supervisor).
  • HNC/HND Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering degree or equivalent relevant industry qualification.
  • City & Guilds Basic Electrical Theory.
  • Temporary Works TWC trained.
  • Lifting Operations Appointed Person (AP).
  • Confined Spaces Appointed Person (AP) Confined Space Entry Certification.
  • Cable Winch Operations Certification.
  • Asbestos Awareness.
  • Manual Handling.
