Job Title: Admissions Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Admissions Team Leader to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our Patient Support Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of all stages of the booking process, including admissions and pre-op assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of multi-skilled administrators to drive operational performance and deliver high standards of customer service.
  • Manage the admissions and pre-op admin team, including sickness, annual leave, and underperformance management.
  • Ensure all administrators have regular 1-2-1s and feedback sessions, and set Employee Engagement (EE) goals.
  • Monitor and improve call handling times, ensuring all calls are answered in a timely manner and delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Plan the workforce to meet activity demands and manage administrative tasks associated with bookings, pre-op assessments, and admissions.
  • Work with the Patient Admissions Manager to identify and resolve process issues, improving KPI scores.
  • Provide data and insights to the Patient Admissions Manager, Director of Shared Services, SMT, and HoDs as required.
  • Deputize for the Patient Admissions Manager in their absence.

  • Support colleagues in the performance of duties and establish good working relationships with colleagues and other Spire Healthcare staff.
  • Promote effective communication throughout the working environment.
  • Continuously improve oneself and the team to deliver on key tasks and objectives.
  • Attend training events and meetings to acquire knowledge and skills.
  • Perform duties in accordance with hospital policies.
