Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join our team in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will perform regular bank statement and credit card transaction reconciliations, prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports to support strategic decision-making, and handle company VAT and tax calculations and submissions.

In addition, you will collaborate with department heads to prepare, monitor, and report on departmental budgets, helping to manage spending effectively. You will also run debtor reports to assist with cash flow management and support credit control efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Perform regular bank statement and credit card transaction reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Handle company VAT and tax calculations and submissions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to prepare, monitor, and report on departmental budgets.
  • Run debtor reports to assist with cash flow management and support credit control efforts.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have some solid experience working in a professional finance, accounts or bookkeeping role. You will be analytical and confident working with budgets, performing variance analysis and providing budgetary insights.

Proficiency with account software packages is important, as well as a good understanding of VAT and CIS regulations.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is £28,000 - £33,000 per annum.

You will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule, 9am - 5pm, with 23 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and a Company pension.
