Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Perform bank statement and credit card transaction reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Handle company VAT and tax calculations and submissions, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare, monitor, and report on departmental budgets.
- Run debtor reports to assist with cash flow management and support credit control efforts.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a professional finance or accounting role.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with budgets.
- Proficiency with account software packages, such as Sage and Kashflow.
- Good understanding of VAT and CIS regulations.
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Benefits:
- 23 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
