Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assessment Specialist to join our team at PFAS. As a Medical Assessment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in conducting thorough assessments of individuals applying for Work Capability Assessments (WCAs). This is a permanent, full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex medical information to create accurate and concise reports
- Conduct interviews with claimants to understand their challenges and assess how their disabilities/conditions/illnesses impact their daily activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet quality and productivity targets
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional
- Broad clinical knowledge and the ability to analyze information critically
- Previous experience using computer software, including Microsoft Office
